Matt Kunsman

for Licking County Common Pleas Court Judge

A New Conservative Vision For the Common Pleas Court

Meet Magistrate Matt Kunsman

Faith. Family. Freedom.

These values, including personal responsibility, accountability, and hard work, have been instilled in conservative Republican Matt Kunsman from a young age. Raised as a 4-H kid in a small farming and manufacturing community in northwest Ohio, Matt brought these values to central Ohio where he has over 15 years of legal experience.

A magistrate in the Common Pleas Court’s Domestic Relations Division, Matt’s priorities are upholding the law and preserving individual rights. The hallmarks of this campaign will be protecting the rights and property of the citizens of Licking County and ensuring criminals receive the consequences and sentences they deserve.

The Common Pleas Court is the front line protecting our homes and families. It plays a vitally important role handling both criminal and civil matters. Many Licking County Residents see the news and are concerned about those who seem to have little regard for the law and the property we work so hard to protect. Given the changes people say are coming to Licking County, the court will be in an important position for voters to get the protection they deserve.

Last year’s ballot measure over cash bail and public safety made clear to Matt that the people do not want to see the issues that plague some of our larger, neighboring cities take root here and the citizens want to see criminals’ behavior properly punished.

Once elected, Matt will be everyone’s judge, not just a judge for his supporters or members of a particular political party. It doesn’t matter if your beliefs fall on the left, right, center, or outside of them all, Matt will serve the future of Licking County as your judge and follow the facts, the Constitution, and the law.
